The houses were constructed in the late 20th century using the finest hand crafted materials and techniques native to Mendocino County. One of the finest examples of straw-bale homes in California is the centerpiece of our housing.

Sunrise & Shadow
A raised deck overlooks the sprawling grasslands and garden. Sunrise has a modern feel to it with cerused gray oak flooring, recessed lighting and skylights throughout.

The west facing neighbor of Sunrise, shadow is an in-law suite, with a full bathtub and queen bed tucked into a soft nook. This suite offers great privacy and comfort.

Strawbale
A historic strawbale house and the first of its kind permitted in the state of California. A white washed adobe style stucco structure with grey oak flooring, Strawbale is split into two mini houses, each with their own entrance and bathrooms, and access to the centralized kitchen. Perfect for large families, groups, or even couples that want.
North wing: loft with Queen bed and 2 Queen bunk beds in living room.
South wing: two semi-private queen beds in loft and up to 3 bunk beds on the ground floor.
Acorn
A late-century inspired redwood house with a large outdoor deck providing gorgeous views of the meadow.
East wing: Queen bed in nook and queen bed in loft overhead. Casual sitting area entrance onto expansive decks
West wing: One private bedroom with living room and kitchen, with bath ensuite
Paloma
Tucked into the forest canopy above Rancheria Creek, Paloma is one of the quiet, more restful locations on the property.

Quail
Situated at the center of the housing cluster in the meadow, Quail crossing has epic views from the deck, and a beautiful mahogany floor. It has a private bedroom and bath, with a single loft that can sleep another 2-3 guests.

Stillpoint
A perfect getaway located at the end of the meadow, and the entrance to the window, this house overlooks a wide ranging view of the valley and the forest below. Stillpoint has a beautiful oak kitchen with a private bedroom and full bath. Mid Century furniture is situated in the living room, with the ability of adding extra beds in the living room for more guests.
