RESET Women’s retreat with Wasfia Nazreen and Cora Neumann, August 10-13

When facing major societal upheaval, as we are in America today, we are told ‘this is a marathon, not a sprint.’ Join world-renowned climber and activist Wasfia Nazreen as she guides us through practices that helped her overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to become the first Bangladeshi and only Bengali to climb the Seven Summits. This 3-day retreat, co-led by RESET co-founders Cora Neumann and Wasfia Nazreen, will connect women with their power and purpose, cultivate meaningful community, and teach women critical resiliency skills so they can return to their lives and work with the power, clarity, and meaning needed to take on the challenges before us and ahead.

In the face of current major political and social upheavals, women across the U.S. and the world are rising up to push for increased leadership roles across all sectors of society. This three-day retreat will bring women together to connect, explore what it means to be a woman in this time of tumultuous change, and prepare – individually and as a community – for the challenges before us and ahead.

Yes, we may feel mobilized, but how can we be most efficient and effective with this energy? Based in Wasfia’s personal experience and training in yoga and meditation, and pulling from Cora’s curriculum designed for First Ladies and women leaders, we will help you answer the central question, ‘Who are you in this time?’ What type of activist are you? What issues or causes do you care about most, and how can you apply your best skills and strengths to making a difference?

RESET’s approach is grounded in the belief that we as women will rise from this setback stronger, and this intensive will help women get clear on how they can harness their own unique strengths and power to stay active in the face of continued adversity. Program includes: yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, immersive time in nature, writing, and workshops focused on social activism, leadership, purpose and resilience.
