The Experience

Join us over the weekend of June 21-23, 2024 at The Eros Monastery for a weekend with Nicole Daedone. Nicole is the co-founder of OneTaste, the creator of Orgasmic Meditation, and the author of The Eros Sutras, as well as 11 other books available on soulmakerpress.com.

What happens during the retreat?

Nicole is a lover of the soul. Those who have worked with her know that her gifts are employed in pointing people towards their most honest, loving expression. A classically trained semanticist, she is a listener and unraveler of meaning and intention with the aim of getting people out of suffering. The weekend will include several group sessions with Nicole as well as time for participants to connect with nature and digest the content. The main focus for this weekend will be man/woman dynamics including the conditioned patterns we often find ourselves in as well as the path to liberation and power.

Two Ways to Attend

There are two tracks available: live in person or online via Zoom as an auditor. In person participants are able to dialogue directly with Nicole and discuss their individual topics of interest. Online participants will observe the sessions and absorb the teachings. The online experience will include its own facilitation, digestion, and clarification sessions with content experts. Only in person participants dialogue directly with Nicole. There are twenty spots for each track available.

Words from Nicole

I specialize in following it where not many dare to tread. I want to know life biblically, the way a man knows a woman (or other configurations of such). I want to know the water by getting wet. Theory, commandments, concepts leave me empty, and not the good kind of emptiness. My driving question is, “Is that true?” Is it wholly true? Where and how is it true? For whom is it true and why? Can it withstand the test of time? Is it true for me as a woman? The last one has taken me off many a beaten path. Givens are often no longer givens when I ask this question. The world turns upside down. My two guiding principles are first, the idea that “I’ve come only for this.” Whatever is presented before me is mine to puzzle, to play, to explore and, finally, to love.

Love leads me to my second guiding principle, how I explore, which is to ask, “Can I love this? Can I love even this?” Who is the “I” who is loving in this moment? What does love look like here? Does it require a peaceful approach, approval, power, some good, old-fashioned wrath? And then, what is “this?” I must leave who I believe myself to be to answer this question—to know and love what this is on its terms and not on mine. As a free woman I want all things to be free, liberated from any ideas I would impose on them. My work remains what it once and always was: to turn poison into medicine and make it available to those who want it.

The Eros Monastery stay also includes optional Orgasmic Meditation (OM) practice as well as Tibetan Buddhist practice. All event participants are asked to volunteer for a seva assignment after meals. OM training is available for those who want to practice and have not yet been trained. To read more about The Eros Monastery, seva, and the rest of the program click here.
